ET has confirmed that former "One Day at a Time" star Mackenzie Phillips was charged today with felony drug possession following her arrest last month at Los Angeles International Airport.
After being charged with two counts of felony drug possession, ET can confirm that the actress has checked herself into rehab.
Her attorney, Blair Berk, informed the court this morning that she entered a rehab facility and is seeking ongoing treatment.
Phillips, 48, was charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance - heroin and cocaine - and one misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of a needle or syringe, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. An arraignment has been scheduled for October.
The actress is currently out on $20,000 bail after being arrested Aug. 27 when she was stopped by LAX security officers who allegedly found needles and suspected drugs.
