Christina Applegate to Present at Emmys

Christina Applegate will be a presenter at this month's Primetime Emmy Awards, just weeks after undergoing major breast cancer surgery.

Christina revealed last month that she underwent a double-mastectomy to treat her breast cancer, but then declared herself cancer-free.

Applegate herself is nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Samantha Newly on ABC's "Samantha Who?."

Other presenters announced today were Candice Bergen, David Boreanaz, Wayne Brady, Lauren Conrad, Jimmy Kimmel and Kiefer Sutherland.

The "60th Primetime Emmy Awards" airs on ABC September 21 at 8 p.m.

Jennifer Lopez just can't make it work. Heidi Klum revealed that the superstar will not be able to perform as guest judge on the "Project Runway" season finale, ET confirms.

"A great five years at Bravo comes to an end today, thank you so much, you did a beautiful job putting the show on the network," the Emmy-nominated host added. Next season, the show moves to Lifetime.

In lieu of J.Lo, the special guest judge will be none other than the show's mentor, fashion guru Tim Gunn.

"I'm happy to fill in last minute and will be impartial and unbiased to the designers," he said.

Audrina Blogs on Her Make-Up with Lauren

If you caught last night's episode of "The Hills," you saw roomies Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad's touching reconciliation. What did Audrina really think of their reunion? Well, she's blogging about it today to let us know!

"Last night's episode of 'The Hills' was intense," she writes. "I think that's the third time I've cried so far on the show!!! Haha! I'm so glad Lauren and I had that talk."

Why the need for such a sit-down? Audrina blogs, "There were a lot of little things that just kept adding to the tension. The new living situation, the new friend/roomie, the rumors you read and hear about in magazines and on gossip sites, moving on in the industry on my own, the whole flirtyness with certain someones that was uncalled for, and only being a true friend when it was called for were all building up. It was these and many other things that kept adding to the fire, and eventually led to the breakdown which included tears and big decisions."

Now that she and Lauren are back on good terms, Audrina has high hopes for the latest season of her MTV hit show, "I feel that in the fourth season things have changed so much and continue to keep changing. It's going to be a good season, don't you think? :)"

Lauren Conrad Turns Author

Is Lauren Conrad the next J.K. Rowling? The MTV darling is now adding writing to her list of talents.

ET confirms that "The Hills" star has signed on to ink a three-book fictional series aimed at young adults.

"I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to," she says. "I'm so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers."

The first book in the series is scheduled to hit stores summer of 2009.

Rob Lowe: Allegations Are Hurting My Work Prospects

Actor Rob Lowe reiterates in a sworn declaration that he never "acted inappropriately" with two former nannies and says allegations by the women are costing him considerable work opportunities, City News Service reports.

Lowe and his wife Sheryl sued the ex-nannies, Laura Boyce and Jessica Gibson, in April for allegedly breaching confidentiality agreements with the celebrity couple. Both women then countersued the Lowes.

The actor states that the allegations, coming after claims already made by Gibson, are costing him a lot of money. "Since the headline that a second nanny sued me for sexual harassment, I have been passed over for at least three commercials, any of which could have ultimately resulted in income of over $1 million," Lowe says.

"I have never acted inappropriately with Ms. Gibson or Ms. Boyce," Lowe states in a declaration filed Wednesday with Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis in Los Angeles, according to City News Service. The declaration is in support of Lowe's opposition to a motion by Boyce to dismiss his lawsuit.

Boyce has moved to dismiss the celebrity couple's lawsuit on grounds that it infringes on her right to free speech. Boyce is also getting some help with her motion in the form of a court declaration from Gibson, who is involved in separate dueling lawsuits with the Lowes in Santa Barbara.

"What I did I can't explain it, except that I know that what I can do today to make it better for myself. It's the craziest thing," Tatum tells Oprah.

Tatum also reveals that Farrah Fawcett helped her through her tough time: "I saw her once, about a year and a half ago when I was sort of trying to be encouraging about her diagnosis. We had sort of a bonding. And then, she sort of heard about it and wanted to know if I was doing ok. I was very taken aback."

Tony Romo Helps Stranded Fans!

When helplessly stranded with a flat tire, one may look at the person who helps them out as a star. And for a lucky Texas couple, that star was Tony Romo!

The Dallas Cowboy quarterback's interstate interception came just in time to help Bill and Sharon White on Sept. 7 in Texas, when Romo arrived to find the couple feverishly attempting to make the repairs themselves, People reports.

"All of a sudden I hear a voice say, 'Do you need help?'" Sharon tells People.

Unbeknownst to them initially, it was Jessica Simpson's famous beau who helped them inflate their tire.

"At that point, I looked at him and thought, 'Dang, he looks familiar,'" Sharon continues. "I go, 'You know what? You look like Tony Romo.' He looked down and just gave me that boyish smile he's got. Then he said, 'That's because I am.'"

"I just screamed as loud as I could," Sharon tells People. "Then I grabbed him and hugged him."

So taken aback by the star encounter, the couple say they forgot to thank Romo for his help.

"I'd thank [Tony] so much for stopping," Sharon says. "I love him to death, he's a great guy. And I hope I didn't bust his eardrum!"
