This Friday, in the first interview since her recent arrest for alleged drug possession, Tatum O'Neal tells Oprah Winfrey all about her life-changing brush with the law: "There's no good way to talk about what happened to me, what I did," Tatum confides.
And the Oscar-winning actress makes no excuses for her actions, which resulted in a guilty plea to disorderly conduct.
"What I did I can't explain it, except that I know that what I can do today to make it better for myself. It's the craziest thing," Tatum tells Oprah.
Tatum also reveals that Farrah Fawcett helped her through her tough time: "I saw her once, about a year and a half ago when I was sort of trying to be encouraging about her diagnosis. We had sort of a bonding. And then, she sort of heard about it and wanted to know if I was doing ok. I was very taken aback."
